ABOUT ME

A former public policy researcher turned body nerd, I am a Pilates/movement teacher, specializing in rehabilitation and therapeutics. My objective is to help you develop sustainable and pain-free movement patterns for your whole life. My classes are informed by my training in Pilates and yoga asana, as well as my continuing studies into human anatomy, the nervous system, and biomechanics. I specialize in working with those with musculoskeletal issues, such as scoliosis, or other special conditions, such as pregnancy. I also love working with anyone looking to increase their connection to their body, develop strength in their body, or increase the range of motion of their joints.
My classes are a result of everything I have learned from all different modalities. I am comprehensively certified on Pilates equipment and mat, and have studied under teachers that come from a wide array of trainings, including the Kane School, Stott Pilates, and Romana Kryzanowska, one of the original Pilates teachers in the United States. I have over 600 hours of trainings through Yogaworks and Maty Ezraty in California and New York City, and was a member of the Yogaworks teacher training team as a teaching assistant in NYC. My practice is also informed by the work of biomechanist Katy Bowman.
